Routine Transport Services:
Invalid Coach: Recognizing the need to meet the
transportation needs of discharged patients when "medical necessity"
guidelines are not met and often are not covered by insurance companies,
WSEMS also provides non-emergency transport services via invalid coaches.
Invalid coaches are a cost-effective means of transporting "bed-bound"
patients. Wheelchair Vans: In addition to transportation needs met by the
Invalid Coach, WSEMS also provides transportation for patients who utilize a
wheelchair for mobility. Unlike many government organizations that provide
wheelchair transportation on a "bus schedule" basis, WSEMS strives to meet
the individual needs of each patient.
